Dental Bonding in Preston
Dental bonding is typically done as a treatment when there are some unfortunate chips that ruins the aesthetics of your teeth or there are some gaps that could be again improving the look and feel of your smile.
The process of bonding takes a paste-like resin that is tinted in a way to match the shade and natural colour of your teeth and then applied in thin layers to the required area.
The tooth or teeth go through a roughening which is part of the preparation before the resin is applied.
In fact, after a slight roughening a liquid is applied on the tooth that acts as an adhesive.
The tinted paste/resin is then applied and shaped so that it fits perfectly to the correct area and looks good and then finally solidified with UV light or a laser.
This procedure is purely cosmetic and done for aesthetic reasons so you won't be able to get this done at a purely NHS dentist, but if you have discolouration on your teeth or small gaps that bother you, our colleagues in Preston can help you with this.
